CHRIS READER PT
I’m a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer with 25 years’ experience in the leisure and fitness industry. Having competed at national and European age-group levels, I have first-hand insight into the dedication, discipline, and consistency required to achieve great results.

I currently deliver 1-to-1 personal training, group personal training, and group fitness classes, including kettlebell and circuit sessions. I work with both my local swim club and remote clients, creating tailored programmes that challenge, inspire, and build confidence.
​
In 2023, I re-did my Personal Trainer qualification through a government workplace apprenticeship. This enabled me to become self-employed, offer a higher-quality service, and stay fully aligned with modern industry standards. For me, nothing is more rewarding than helping others finally achieve the results they’ve been striving for.
​
Over the years, I’ve seen countless trends, fads, and “six-week hacks” appear like tornadoes—loud, dramatic, and short-lived. Some people may find temporary success, but many don’t. These so-called “ground-breaking” shortcuts are usually just reinvented versions of something old, and most aren’t backed by science.
​
Real and consistent success always comes from working on the foundations that truly make a difference—not from quick fixes. Hacks are simply tricks that lack the structure needed for long-term progress, often just a fancy way to repackage core principles.
​
Don’t sell yourself short on the chance of long-term success. Think consistency, patience, and the bigger picture.
​
That’s really the only cheat code.

The top performers are those who show up day after day, week after week, month after month, and year after year—world-class at the basics, not basic at the world-class.
